Have to admit that I never understood what "archived" meant; whether in the properties of files (I used to see the "archive" check box in addition to "read only" and "hidden") or certainly "archive" as you use it here in junk mail. When I think of archives I think of great presidential libraries or our beautiful Library of Congress. Why would anyone want to archive junk mail? --- Harold

Anyone using Hotmail knows that you can designate any email entering the inbox as "Junk" mail. When ready to empty the Junk mail folder, you have a choice of "emptying" or "deleting" ... anyone know what the difference is? ... Harold
