Hello again, All right, I know you are smiling. Yes, I still have my Windows 98 and unfortunately still have that penchant to delete files in the computer and keys in the registry that I think unnecessary. And maybe the following problem has nothing to do with that.
Here goes: Everything is working fine on and off the internet. I can restart the computer with no trouble. BUT ... everytime I go to *shut down* the computer, it goes black, then on a blue background I get the following message: A fatal exception 0D has occurred at 2837:000029E Press Ctrl/Alt/Del to restart the computer. Press any key to continue (blinking cursor) After that, neither Ctrl/Alt/Del works nor does pressing any key do anything. All that's left to do is shut down and give a cold reboot. Any ideas? ...
