Thanks, Clint ... I want to make sure I understand completely. With ZoneAlarm, I guess you mean the brown/yellow icon with the ZA letters on it. But with the AVG program, which one would I open in the System Tray ... the Control Center (which easily goes into the Tray) or the actual "AVG for Windows" icon? (which is the actual Test window, and I don't know how that goes into the Tray) ... Harold > > Windows 98 ... I have AVG (free edition) and ZoneAlarm (version 5.1). Question is, exactly what should I be keeping open while on the internet? In other words, when it comes to AVG and ZoneAlarm, what should I have in the System Tray (lower right hand corner of the Taskbar) and/or, what should I have going in the Startup tab of msconfig? > > Both of them. - -Clint
Btw, life has become a lot more interesting with this computer since changing from Netscape to IE and from McAfee to AVG ... I have to thank Hugh for that (thanks, Hugh, I don't regret anything). Except two comments; only my opinion ... handling Bookmarks was much easier than handling Favorites, and Netscape's Bookmark Bar was more versatile than IE's Links Bar. ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
