At the moment, the camera issue has been cleared up,
I did something in
Device Manager and the next time I plugged in the camera
the puter loaded the
proper info it needed to run the camera and I could
easily open the pictures in
Adobe, the only problem I have now is tanfering the pics
from PDD files to
JPEG files so I can open them on other programs. Thanks
again for all of your
help. :-)

You can use any file manager on Earth, from windows
explorer to any
Norton Commander clone or ztreewin or even the ACDC
browser which
is very friendly because you get the previews as you're
browsing through
your files and it doubles as a fairly good file
manager..The one that
has more features is PowerDesk. Any of them is going to
see your card
or your camera output as a removable disk.
Of course, you must follow Clint's advice and make sure
your
usb or serial ports are enabled in your bios and
effectively working.
