Advice well taken, thanks Ben ... And now, I'm sure, the last question on the subject: What does the graying out of the "Explore" and "Open" lines in the right-click of the Start button have to do with drives? As soon as I placed the checks back in TweakUI, and rebooted the computer (all suggested by Carol and Linda), everything showed up fine. What's the connection? I ask only to better understand the modern tech world I'm living in. It's not enough to have things working; I have to know why. To me it's all a mystery (but exciting).
