Ok, that's probably before formatting. After you format a CDRW disk that is rated at 650mb, you end up with only about 535mb usable space. The "minutes" is how many minutes in audio they can hold. 650mb is 74 min. Yeah.....I'm very aware they come in many different brands. ;-)
I've kinda wondered about that CAPS thing myself. -Clint God Bless Us All Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Harold B" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> CLINT writes ... (You have cd*RW* media that holds 700mb? I've heard of 700mb CDR, but not 700mb CDRW yet). Yes, Clint, I'm looking at the box right now. It says "Memorex, CD-RW, rewritable compact discs for computer CD rewriters ... 700mb, 80minute (whatever that means), 4x multi speed" .. It's a 10 pack, each CD in a "slim jewel case ... picked it up at Staples here in Brooklyn, NY. These CD's are made by many vendors; doesn't have to be Memorex. Regarding the change from lower case to caps when copying/moving files from one drive to another, seems there's nothing I can do about it. Just wondering why it happens.
