Hello, Peter and all! Tried the below but that didn't work. Probably operator error but I followed your directions to a 't'...I remember Netscape 6 caused me some grief as well, and a friend of mine changed it to IE. I may have deleted Netscape 6 from my hard drive ???
I may try to download Harold B's suggestion(s).. I just don't understand why this is so difficult. I set up my digital camera the original time and it went like a breeze. I am getting very frustrated with whatever is going on with my computer now. To top things off, I bought a new digital camera (an Olympus C-4040Zoom)..No one has to tell me that it is probably more camera than my abilities can handle.. :-) but I am a gamey thing... Thanks again, Cindy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Kaulback" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, February 17, 2002 10:13 AM Subject: Re: PCWorks: Re:viewing digital photos and screen going black... For your images, Netscape6 ( first release) caused a lot of problems for users. If you right click on your IE icon on the desktop and choose Properties, then click the Programs Tab and then click on the "Reset Web Settings..." button you should have IE be the default image viewer instead of Netscape6.
