Ok Guys and girls heres a strange one for you. I need to create an audio cd with track marks but no silence between tracks and that one trakc plays automaticly right after the other without pauses silence or needing to hit the track switch.
I started out by editing some large audio files and taking small sections from them roughly 10 to 20 seconds in length and creating separate wav files. I used Goldwave and I made sure each file was trimmed so they ended without extra silence in the files. I then burned a CD using Nero 6.... I check the box that says no pause between tracks on the beginning screen and that didn't work. Not only were there pauses, but I actually had to hit the track forward to play the next track. I then burned another cd and checked the same box as before but then when in to the advanced screen and checked the box that says remove silence at the ends of cda tracks. Still the same result. Yes I could merge all the files in to one file and create a trackless cd that plays the way I want it to and infact I have done that as a failsafe but what am I missing? what am I doing wrong that my original methods are not giving me what I want? Is there a bug in Nero 6 or a bug in the operator grin! any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
