I would say that the Parrot Foundation has a good record with mentoring
students, as well as being picked as one of only 20 orgs to participate
in Google Code-In. While this doesn't make us a shoe-in, I don't think
we should worry about not getting accepted due to splitting off from TPF.

I have no clue how many slots we will get, though, since they seem to be
thinking about changing the size/structure of GSoC a bit.
