Hi guys - I really appreciate you following up with me on this issue. My desire is not to blame any package but just to understand if I am on the right track.
I still see the error "The procedure entry point Perl_hv_common_key_len could not be located in the dynamic link library perl58.dll. " This is perl, v5.8.9 built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread (with 9 registered patches, see perl -V for more detail),Copyright 1987-2008, Larry Wall Build 825 Par-Packer 0.976, PPM 4.04 Par-Packer is from http://theory.uwinnipeg.ca/ppmpackages/ I really hope I will find a resolution.
