Yes; many times. I finally even just deleted the .newsrc but thousands came back Eternal-September.org lists as not having. They're not on any other server I use anymore. Were they loaded back in some from other file/directory such as more data about groups? > I think some of the newsrc and newsgroups.* updates only happen when > updating the group list, but I'm not sure if that applies to server > removal related updates or not.
