With my update today I saw there was a new commit to pan. Here's the log (email munged slightly for posting):
commit 77d1c18ae (HEAD, refs/git-r3/net-nntp/pan/0/__old__, refs/git-r3/ net-nntp/pan/0/__main__, refs/git-r3/HEAD) Author: Dominique Dumont <dod at debianorg> AuthorDate: Mon Aug 9 18:31:10 2021 +0200 Commit: Dominique Dumont <dod at debianorg> CommitDate: Mon Aug 9 18:31:10 2021 +0200 add me to doap files and remove Charles and Petr Thanks for your contributions --- pan.doap | 11 ++--------- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 9 deletions(-) The *.doap file is an XML-based maintainer listing. Given the email @debian, presumably that's pan's Debian maintainer, now upstream maintainer as well. So we appear to actually have an upstream maintainer again now. =:^) Not being a gnome guy I don't know what other details might be involved, but that's a commit on pan's official repo, so he obviously has access there. Hopefully that means we get the gtk3/gtk4 and other build updates committed upstream reasonably quickly, and building pan against current libs won't be the pain it has become due to bitrot. -- Duncan - List replies preferred.
