I'm setting up a new PC running Win 10 and have installed 0.144.

But I can't make the signature line behave as it does on 0.140 on my Win7 PC.

The sig type there is text, and the text line reads

"-- -------------------------------------------- Dick Baker --contact via http://goon.org/contact.php";

and it displays in the message as

--
--------------------------------------------
                Dick Baker
 --contact via http://goon.org/contact.php

But when I put that same sig line in 0.144, all that displays is

http://goon.org/contact.php

I have that same sig in a SIG.TXT file, but when I tell 0.144 to use that file for the sig, it displays the sig correctly in the outgoing message form, but what arrives at the newsgroup is just

http://goon.org/contact.php)

I fear this will all be too confusing to parse in a text message, but if anybody has any guidelines on using a sig in 0.144, I'd love to hear about it.
