stunnel is a different beast - for wrapping HTTPS around an insecure NNTP connection (or any TCP connection, really). The OP here is about tunnelling either a cleartext or HTTPS-encrypted NNTP connection over SSH in order to mask your own IP address - essentially a proxy (indeed, that's what the -D option sets up, as others have noted).
