Same problem here. I have just checked out Pan from git and built it. It works just fine with no header compression but as soon as I turn on the GZIP compression and try to download headers from any group, it exhibits the same behaviour: 100% CPU usage and never returns, even if I ask for the last week's worth of headers in a low-traffic group. I have also tried killing the at-spi daemon as some folks have suggested, to no avail. Daniel
