I tried your suggestion: View My Messages Only, then View Threads. It kinda works, but involves a lot of mouse clicking. I like the keyboard shortcuts better. I guess I'll stick with 0.14.2.91 for now.
WRT HTML malware, I suppose it's possible, but it seems that you would have to have pretty lax defaults for your browser and OS for that to really be a serious problem. I worry more about my email address leaking onto the Internet, and being deluged with offers to improve the size/function of my reproductive organs. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: [Pan-users] Should "Go Next Watched Article" work? However, I personally still consider it somewhat less of an offense than HTML, because I've never read about top-posting spreading malware, as I have about HTML messages. > I find it hard to believe that I am the only Pan user who wants to be > able to jump to his own posts and read any replies. Is there some other > way to accomplish what CTL-F and CTL-G do in 0.14.x? I'm tired enough I'm not sure this makes sense, but wanted to get the reply in before I sleep... Try view, header-pane, show only my articles, then set match subthreads (or match entire threads if you want upstream as well as downstream). I sometimes use that method here. Just don't forget to reset it to normal afterward, as one time I forgot I had it set to my articles only, and wondered why the groups suddenly got so quiet... -- Duncan - List replies preferred.
