Hi, I am just switching to Evolution/Pan combo from Thunderbird and so I
went through bugzilla.redhat.com bugs to see how we are doing, and found
to my pleasant surprise that Pan seems to be excellently managed in
fedora. The only bug I found is this crash (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/
show_bug.cgi?id=831857). Crash signature is

Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.
#0  0x00000000004776c2 in pan::HeaderPane::get_article \
     (model=0x47dfa80, iter=0x7fff3f100240) at header-pane.cc:61
61        const Article * a = dynamic_cast<Row*>(PAN_TREE_STORE(model)\
     ->get_row(iter))->article;
and the remaining information is in the bugzilla.

What is the proper protocol for sending these crashes upstream? Just
throwing them into the endless sea of 1267 bugs in bugzilla.gnome.org or
to mention it here?

Best,

Matěj

You were right in mentioning it here to get my attention.
I won't implement a fix right away because it's a rather complicated bug, and I'll change the data
backend in the near future anyway, so....

But thanks for pointing me to that bug, feel free to do so anytime.

Cheers.
