Dear experts, I had just installed the PAN newsreader because the new version of my SeaMonkey, 2.5., does no more an useful connection. I use Win 7 Pro on an Intel Quad mainboard.
I got my password rejected always. This error is well known at eternal-september but there is no useful help. Therefore I tried to use PAN. Mon Jan 02 17:29:43 2012 - Verbindung mit ?news.eternal-september.org:119? kann nicht hergestellt werden: 481 You are not allowed to connect through TOR Pan ist jetzt offline. Bitte schauen Sie in ?Datei|Statusprotokoll?, um das Problem zu beheben, dann wählen Sie ?Datei|Onlinemodus?, um fortzusetzen. ------------------------------------------------------------ So this means that PAN tries to connect via TOR. I have installed TOR but I am not using it in the moment. What can I do to circumvent the use of TOR for this access ? Please help ! thanks Jochen
