Yes, and that's exactly how I have it on both my desktop and my laptop.
This isn't exactly the place, however, to discuss this. If you
haven't already, go to http://forum.xfce.org/ and get an account so that
you can ask about this there. If you'd rather not do that, email me
off-list and I'll see what I can do. I usually have to get rid of an
extra panel because I think that panels should be like Highlanders, and
we may be able to adapt that to what you need.
