First, as a pan user, you should appreciate this request. Please don't post HTML to this list. No, pan has no way to load posts from other than its normal location. The posts /are/ in the same format, standard Internet Message format, the same format used for email but with slightly different headers. However, pan keeps other information about its groups, messages and threading, in other files, and it has no way to read raw message files except as it downloads them -- just putting them in the cache won't do anything either as they won't be in pan's indexes. However, since the messages are standard Internet message format, you may well be able to use your mail client to load them.
