You ROCK! This is the way I personally like to learn... fix stuff then figure out why it worked <grin>. So now the program doesn't crash. It appears to be letting me add a server. What's my next move? I'll probably have some follow-up questions on how all this worked if that's ok?

The idea is that maybe there's something in the data stored in that directory that's causing a problem. After moving it, you need to relaunch pan with "pan" and see if it segfaults again. If it segfaults again, then the issue is likely a library compatibility issue or something along those lines.
