If you are using Thunderbird for reading emails, it is achieveable. 
Create a newsgrop account there, and add gmane as server and then 
subscribe to the particular group you are interested in. Go to the thread 
you want to email to yourself. By pressing *Ctrl+Shift+A*, select the 
thread and drag it to any of the folders in one of your email accounts.

At first, you wont be able to view the messages threaded by default if 
you haven't already selected viewing your emails threaded.  To do that, 
go to *View>Sort by>Threaded.*
