Most of the time, when it happens the "target article" would be in the last line or 2 of the header pane, but that's not always the case. I *think* when that's not the case it's typically a thread with *LOTS* of replies (several times more than would "fit" in the header pane, the way I have it sized), but I haven't payed enough attention to those cases to be sure.
