Sorry, although I had glanced at that I did not have much

Yep :)

Just going back to my point about being unable to remove
tasks for a moment.  I have not done any serious testing,
but it does seem to me that the probability of the problem
occurring increases the longer Pan has been running without
news being read.  - I just thought I would mention it. No
need to respond.
