Had a problem with my ISP's news provider today -- the news server stopped working and Pan refused to resume downloading the queued messages. I had to delete the queued tasks and resubmit them from scratch, which was a real pain as I had several hundred messages in alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.1950s tagged for download. :-)
