Speaking of ydecoding: there was a problem with 0.14, and I haven't been
able to check if it is still a problem.
You should test it out in the rewrite before reporting anything.
0.14.x is abandonware at this point, and I typically close 0.14.x
bugs if I don't think the code survived the rewrite.
