This is "weekly" beta #17 of a full Pan redesign and rewrite in C++.
It's now feature-complete for an upcoming 1.0 release and is being cycled

Anyone out there attempting a build for RHEL4 or Centos4? They only ship
PCRE 4.5 and it appears that PCRE 5 is a requirement. Anyone got a good
resource for a RHEL4 version of PCRE 5?
