I got all the messages. My newsserver's cache is very large and messages don't expire. I had only "Match only unread articles" checked. If I uncheck that option and check "Match only cached articles" the thread display looks normal, although enormously long. Something changed here from old Pan or I can't seem to get the options setup as they where. Now I have only "Match only cached articles" selected. I have a huge list of all threads in this group. It seems that threads that have a new post are double-underlined. In the above case, "AMD patent about inverse hyperthreading" is double-underlined. If I select it, all the subthreads are displayed correctly with new articles in bold. That's fine. I think before the way it worked for me was: I grabbed new headers. Pan displayed unexpanded threads, but _only_ the threads that had new posts, the double-underlined threads in new Pan. When I expanded the thread, I seen all the old articles and the new ones were in bold. Can I get this behavior with new Pan? -- It is very vulgar to talk like a dentist when one isn't a dentist. It produces a false impression. -- Oscar Wilde. _______________________________________________ Pan-users mailing list Pan-users@nongnu.org http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/pan-users
