I got the first filter working fine. I appear to have done something
wrong with the second though. I may look at it again tomorrow.
Especially in view of the above comments.

Unfortunately, as I suspected, I cannot install .9x etc. It needs
G.T.K. 2.8.15. That fails to install on 98SE.

With no upgrade path for me it looks like Pan might not be best for
me after all. :-(  Thanks however for your help.
