Well, no, not exactly. I've been playing with it for awhile and it crashed exactly once, and never again. The one-and-only time it segfaulted was *after* seeing the error I posted last time about the failure to load message bodies from gmane.test: (article-cache.cc:398 get_message): assertion "this->contains(*it)" failed. I'm still seeing the same error in gmane.test and I have no idea why. Could this seemingly unrelated error be causing the group-filtering crash (malloc problem, etc) ? In any case, the group-filtering crash is a rare event and I have no idea how to reproduce it.
