Well, on the one hand, Palm OS is in the same boat as Mac OS and Windows,
which time out in the same decade, and were created not too long ago as
well. And Palm OS is definitely not as bad as Newton OS with its 17 year
lifespan.

On the other hand, I agree with you...

Which is, of course, not a Y2K bug but a Y2031 bug. For all the things
Palm engineers did right, designing an operating system in 1996 (or
thereabouts) with a 35 year life span was, IMHO, unconscionable.
