Unfortunately I can’t get the radius-accounting service to start.
The radius-acct.log shows constantly the following error: Aug 2 15:14:03 packetfence radiusd-acct-docker-wrapper[3404719]: Wed Aug 2 15:14:03 2023 : Error: Failed binding to acct address * port 1813 bound to server packetfence: Address already in use Aug 2 15:14:03 packetfence radiusd-acct-docker-wrapper[3404719]: Wed Aug 2 15:14:03 2023 : Error: /usr/local/pf/raddb/acct.conf[8]: Error binding to port for 0.0.0.0 port 1813 Aug 2 15:14:06 packetfence radiusd-acct-docker-wrapper[3404796]: Running with args --sig-proxy=true --rm --name=radiusd-acct --add-host=containers-gateway.internal:host-gateway -h packetfence -v /var/lib/mysql:/var/lib/mysql -v /etc/sudoers:/etc/sudoers -v /etc/sudoers.d/:/etc/sudoers.d/ -v /usr/local/fingerbank/conf:/usr/local/fingerbank/conf -v /usr/local/fingerbank/db:/usr/local/fingerbank/db -v /usr/local/pf/var/run:/usr/local/pf/var/run -ePF_UID=997 -e PF_GID=997 -eFINGERBANK_UID=998 -e FINGERBANK_GID=998 -eIS_A_CLASSIC_PF_CONTAINER=yes --env-file /usr/local/pf/var/conf/radiusd-acct.env -v /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro -v /usr/local/pf/conf/log.conf.d/:/usr/local/pf/conf/log.conf.d/ -v /usr/local/pf/conf/ssl/:/usr/local/pf/conf/ssl/ -v /usr/local/pf/raddb/:/usr/local/pf/raddb/ -v /usr/local/pf/logs/:/usr/local/pf/logs/ -p 1813:1813/udp --network=host Aug 2 15:14:06 packetfence radiusd-acct-docker-wrapper[3404803]: Error: No such container: radiusd-acct Aug 2 15:14:06 packetfence radiusd-acct-docker-wrapper[3404803]: Error: No such container: 1 Aug 2 15:14:06 packetfence radiusd-acct-docker-wrapper[3404811]: WARNING: Published ports are discarded when using host network mode Aug 2 15:14:06 packetfence radiusd-acct-docker-wrapper[3404811]: Wed Aug 2 15:14:06 2023 : Info: Starting - reading configuration files ... Activate it and see if the ip address of the device appear in the request. If it's the case then enable update iplog on radius accounting in PacketFence. At the moment the radius is used in order to provide the correct vlans, based on client MACs, the clients have fixed and dynamic ip’s. Nodes with fixed ip’s doesn’t show their names and ip’s in the node view. What is the recommented procedure for nodes with fixed ip’s, in oder to show those details on the nodes page?
