Bug ID: 2454327
Summary: Review Request: perl-Atomic-Pipe - Send atomic
messages from multiple writers across a POSIX pipe
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Hardware: All
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Component: Package Review
Severity: medium
Priority: medium
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
QA Contact: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora
Spec URL:

SRPM URL:
https://ppisar.fedorapeople.org/perl-Atomic-Pipe/perl-Atomic-Pipe-0.023-1.fc45.src.rpm
Description:
Normally if you write to a pipe from multiple processes/threads, the
messages will come mixed together unpredictably. Some messages may be
interrupted by parts of messages from other writers. This module takes
advantage of some POSIX specifications to allow multiple writers to send
arbitrary data down a pipe in atomic chunks to avoid the issue.
