customers using SharePoint Server 2013 and Office 365 to retrieve unified
search results through a combined search index in Office 365. This new
hybrid search solution is also native to SharePoint Server 2016 IT Preview.

Cloud hybrid search offers users the ability to seamlessly discover relevant
information across on-premises and Office 365 content. With the cloud hybrid
search solution, you index all your crawled content, including on-premises

and Office 365 cloud services with combined search relevancy ranking.

As SharePoint 2016 moves though development, more and more resources are
being available and online relating to it. Here are some initial links
related to SharePoint 2016 Beta 2.

call as they do contain some good information about the product and what
changes it has gone though.
