Hi, thanks a lot for your message. To be honest this is not really a question of a policy. We had quality problems earlier this week and several people worked day and night to fix them. The unfortunate result where the several releases. The good news is that all the big bugs are now fixed and we are keep on working on the minor bugs.
So if we want to solve this, and we want to solve this, the solution is not a version policy but more help with QA. Everybody is welcome to help to test the beta releases or the daily snapshots: http://download.owncloud.org/community/owncloud-daily-master.tar.bz2 http://download.owncloud.org/community/owncloud-daily-stable5.tar.bz2 http://download.owncloud.org/community/owncloud-daily-stable45.tar.bz2 Another super useful thing is to help in the github bugtracker to test and report bugs. The most important thing probably is to document step by step instructions how to reproduce bugs. Everybody can do that. Even people who are not familiar with PHP or JS. So thanks to everybody who helps.
