We are still looking for people to conduct interviews for either ApacheCon or 
OpenStack Live. 
These conferences are upcoming in April, so please note the timeline below:

Timeline
Week of March 9 - Choose a speaker to interview, draft questions, and 
send to speaker
Week of March 16 - Deadline for answers back from speaker, write an 
article introduction for the interview
Week of March 23 - Final editing and speaker approval for interview

Estimated time required: ~2 hours for light research on the speaker and 
topic, to draft the questions, and to write an introduction.

Our team has selected speakers from each conference that we think are 
speaking on an interesting topic for the Opensource.com readership and 
audience. You are more than welcome to suggest someone else.

Once you have selected someone, a coordinator from my team will walk you 
through the process. The first step is to do some light research and 
come up with a list of questions. All of our interviews are conducted 
over email.
