As many of you know, Opensource.com is an online publication that
collects and shares the stories of people all over the globe who are
using open source. And we want to help share your story with the open
source community and beyond.
We've created a public-facing list that includes our monthly topics and
weekly columns.
http://opensource.com/life/15/1/call-for-writers-editorial-calendar
For January, we are covering Open Source Careers. In February we're
looking for contributions to our Beginners to Open Source series and if
you'd like to interview a speaker from SCALE13X let us know.
We've also started to have weekly columns. Instead of having one person
write the column, we are taking a collaborative approach--it's the open
source way. We've already kicked off columns for Apache projects, Easy
DevOps, Humanitarian FOSS, and Open Hardware. We are actively recruiting
contributors for The Open CMS column, but we can use more people for
each one.
If you want to contribute or know someone who would be a good addition,
please let us know. Don't see a topic of interest listed? Always feel
free to contact us at [email protected] with your ideas.
I saw a term on Twitter recently that really resonated with me:
Community media. We've built this great platform on Opensource.com to
help promote all things open source. We just need your stories.
