I don't want to give the appearance of having the final word on this, so this is just my speculation. I think the next release will be a 2.1 release. There's been some stuff on the TODO list for a while which is now needed to better support Commons Net and possibly Ant. Specifically in the areas of conditionally compiling versions for multiple JVMs (e.g., J2ME/JDK 1.1, J2SE 1.2, and J2SE 1.4) and providing wrapper classes and factories for other regular expression engines; but also to finally implement some good regression testing. The timing will depend largely on demand and available volunteer time. The latest source in CVS always compiles and usually only ever contains enhancements to and fixes for the last release, so one can always do a checkout of that (and avoid new features as they may change). My best guess would be a couple of months even the total amount of work required is probably a work week or less. daniel --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
