Title : SAS Suite Administrator Location : Boston, MA Duration : 12 Months Description : • Set standards for DataFlux usage for the team. • Set up the management resources and repositories for DataFlux, including establishing naming and organization standards. • Define data sources and other common components used in DataFlux. • Manage and monitor the DataFlux repository. Monitor and control the utilization of Oracle resources (disk space, CPU, etc…) by the DataFlux repository. • Generate reports from the DataFlux repository as needed. • Manage the configuration of DataFlux software on the SAS servers. • Oversee the maintenance of DataFlux software on the clients and the SAS servers. • Assist the data analysts and other team members with DataFlux questions. • Manage the SAS environment through the SAS Management Console. • Define SAS users and their privileges. • Determine naming standards and organization of the SAS metadata. • Manage data access and sharing in the SAS environment through the SAS metadata. • Manage the SAS development environment (versioning, migration). • Work with the SAS ETL developer on setting up processes in the SAS environment. • Manage the configuration of SAS software on the SAS servers. • Set up the integration between SAS and DataFlux software. • Support the SAS developers. • Oversee SAS software upgrades on the clients and SAS servers. • Using SAS suite of tools perform in-depth analysis of source data and provide guidance, insight and actionable recommendations based on the data specification and content. • Create Oracle SQL queries and query data from various data sources to support analysis. • Using SAS tools analyze and interpret data for trends, behaviors and insights. • Link, manage and transform data from multiple data sources. • Develop and run reports to illustrate results of the analysis. • Using SAS Tools or SAS programming language develop all components of the process that will be needed to analyze source data, support cleansing recommendations, monitor the quality over time and deliver the data into identified target database.
