BTW, we received an offline comment about how the flow part is supposed to work. This is a good comment that is worth clarified in the text. Added this NEW: 6.2. Anchoring Flow Structure The characterization of a flow depends on the underlying data model that adheres to the IM. From that standpoint, the IM does not make an assumption about flow characterization and identification. Future flow-oriented data models MUST ensure that the flow structure is anchored so that the discards are unambiguously associated with a flow.
