Hi all,

I am happy to announce the release of prometheus-xmpp-blackbox-exporter [1]
version 0.3.1.

The most recent binary and accompanying checksums are available at:
https://github.com/horazont/prometheus-xmpp-blackbox-exporter/releases/

The docker image is available as
xsfjonas/prometheus-xmpp-blackbox-exporter:0.3.1

The new release has the following highlights:

- Fix invalid stream:stream@from value for s2s probers.
NOTE: This is a breaking change which requires fixing your configuration by
adding a `from:` field to the s2s prober configs.

- Support for probing In-Band Registration

- Support for exporting and asserting the presence of SASL mechanisms and
  dialback in s2s probes.

Prometheus [2] is a (currently) very popular time-series database and overall
monitoring solution. In Prometheus terminology, an exporter is a piece of
software which provides metrics for the Prometheus server to ingest
("scrape").

The Prometheus XMPP Blackbox Exporter is a piece of software written in golang
which allows to execute "blackbox" probes against XMPP services to include the
results and metrics of those probes in ones monitoring.

kind regards,
Jonas
