Sure thing. Sorry for getting your name wrong Walter. Thanks, Brian ________________________________

It's not really setting it up again as much as it is just exposing the settings that you (or the other person who set it up) had already chosen. I am pretty sure it defaults to the account name specified for authentication when you re-run the setup, but even if it doesn't you can simply create a new one at that point and continue through the process. The applications, users and groups are not affected/deleted by re-running the setup (in the Linux version for sure). The only pain is that adito will be offline once you run the setup until you sort out the account. BTW, this is a Windows install of Adito - I'm not sure if I need to just re-run the installer (AditoInstaller0-9-1) to change the service account, yet I don't want to overwrite anything else or if I need to launch the "Adito First Time Installer" from the Start Menu? I wouldn't think changing the password to the Active Directory service account would require a reinstall - but maybe that's the case? I did not do the install and setup, but I believe the password for the "Service Account" has changed causing login issues for new users (it seems older account can login fine). After searching through the web based management console and directory structure, I was unable to find a config file which outlined the Active Directory setup. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction for double checking the AD configuration and what account was used as the Service Account? Do you need to do a reinstall to change these settings? think adito must start in "install modus". then you do can change the password from the service account. Any feedback would be great - thanks! ________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev ________________________________ _______________________________________________ Openvpn-als-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openvpn-als-user ________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev ________________________________ _______________________________________________ Openvpn-als-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openvpn-als-user -- This e-mail or communication, including any attachments, is intende d only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain c onfidential and/or legally privileged material.
