Hi Folks, We just got in an Intel D945GSEJT mainboard for evaluation. It looks like a great board for use in thin clients...feature-wise.
We can boot the board using PXE in a simple DRBL setup on our workbench, but it will not boot using OpenThinclient. When attempting to boot from OpenThinclient, the board will not even grab an IP address from the primary DHCP server (as seen in the logs). We tried alternate DHCP servers (Linux and Windows) and alternate OTC servers (both known-working Windows OTC servers). Do I just give up? And never use Intel ITX mainboards, no matter how inexpensive they are? ;-) Might anyone have any advice in this case? Is anyone successfully using Atom-based thin clients with OTC? Thanks in advance, G -- =========================== Gene Cooper Sonora Communications, Inc. 936 W.
