well, that's a ffmpeg problem ...
I was merely thinking about linking against a common ffmpeg package as
a shared library, but since every other package comes with it's own
private copy of that, possibly even with different patches on top
of arbitrary cvs/svn checkouts of ffmpeg it's not really doable.
