Trying to play an .avi file I could not see the video and hear only the audio. After some fiddling around with trying to make it happy from Packman I gave up and installed my Fluendo Codec Pack. Now .avi thumbnails are visible in Totem and Nautilus, however attepting to play the video in Totem causes segfault.
