Hi

I have finally entered all my coastal data for Brazil (still lots pending, but
data not yet available, or need special attention) and I turn my focus on the
next step. The data which is lined up for me now is Rio Paraguaí - Paraná, from
the border between Argentina and Paraguay, to its length of navigatable waters
in Brazil, with some areas missing.

This is my first consentrated work on inland fulviavle waterways, and Rio
Paraguaí - Paraná has its own notice board system.

First thing I noticed was the extensive use of special buoys. I have no written
documentation as of yet to the meaning of these buoys (black conical buoys with
black x topmark and white flashing light, is one example)

Malcolm, can you document the PPWBC notice marks? The documentation you already
have is as good as mine. That way I can add the notice boards once without the
need to revisit them later.

The lateral marks will be tagged as IALA-B on all Brazilian inland waterways,
as NORMAM-17 clearly states that it follows IALA-B also on inland waterways.
