Hi everyone,

Just a friendly reminder that I'm still accepting birthday messages for
our community roundup. I'll compile everything by May 29 and prepare a
piece in honor of the open organization community's fourth anniversary.
See below for details.

All the notes I've received so far have been touching, inspiring, and
poignant. My thanks to all who've contributed.

June 2 marks the open organization community's fourth birthday (I know,
right?). And on Tuesday, June 4, we'll be publishing an article to
celebrate the occasion.

I'd love for that article to feature voices from the community—from
writers, readers, and members who've been with us from the start to
those who've just joined the journey.

So here's your chance to send the open organization community a birthday
message. Please consider sending me a few sentences to mark the
anniversary. You might consider:

- A statement about something you've learned from the community
- A story about how participating in the community helped you accomplish
something
- The story of your favorite memory from a community project or activity
- A link to your favorite article, book, or resource and a description
of what it's helped you do

I'll collect all your well-wishes through *Wednesday, May 29* and
compile them into a giant, textual party popper for release on June 4!

Editorially yours,
Bryan
