Hello, all! Bryan thought you might appreciate hearing from someone other than him this morning, so here I am to share this exciting announcement! :-)
The Open Organization Ambassadors have been hard at work finalizing a draft of a maturity model to accompany our definition of what "open" looks like in practice. In addition to defining the five characteristics we feel define "open" in this context, we've described three different levels of maturity for each of those characteristics. We hope this will help organizations see where they fall on the continuum of open and identify ways to mature, if so desired. Please take a look and leave any comments or suggestions you might have. And because this is on GitHub, this is our "public beta" -- we welcome feedback from everyone who wants to contribute, so feel free to distribute to anyone you think might be interested. https://github.com/open-organization-ambassadors/open- org-definition/issues/7#issuecomment-291288616 Thank you, ----- Allison Matlack Customer Platform Customer Experience & Engagement Red Hat | Raleigh, NC 919-890-8829 (office) 919-609-9702 (cell) amatlack (irc) | apranger (gcal)
