Well, it is isolated to JFXPanel, but that means it's also only for
Swing applications that run JavaFX. So not sure that it can be said to
affect a large user base. I imagine the Swing+JavaFX user base is much
smaller than the total JavaFX user base. The panel still gets updates
from Swing, so it is just the handling of these NPEs that is a bit annoying.
