Hello!

i have entries in my /var/adm/messages, which occur every second:

Mar 11 10:04:09 oi /sbin/dhcpagent[343]: [ID 577356 daemon.error] plumb_lif: SIOCSLIFFLAGS igb0:3: File exists Mar 11 10:04:09 oi /sbin/dhcpagent[343]: [ID 884816 daemon.warning] configure_v6_leases: no IAADDRs found in IA_NA Mar 11 10:04:09 oi /sbin/dhcpagent[343]: [ID 987277 daemon.warning] configure_v6_leases: no usable IA_NA option found Mar 11 10:04:09 oi /sbin/dhcpagent[343]: [ID 350639 daemon.warning] dhcp_bound: no address lease established Mar 11 10:04:09 oi /sbin/dhcpagent[343]: [ID 587021 daemon.warning] accept_v6_message: dhcp_bound failed for igb0

It should by ok to have DHCP messages -- but every second ??

Size of the log is > 700MB, along with the logadm rotation a sum of 3-4 GB

The server is at home behind a fritz box 5530 router, which is supposed to handle IA_NA which a turned on option:

*Assign DNS server, prefix (IA_PD) and IPv6 address (IA_NA)
*The FRITZ!Box is announced as a DNS server via DHCPv6. Parts of the IPv6 network assigned by the internet service provider are passed on to downstream routers. Devices in the home network are assigned an IPv6 address via DHCPv6.

Don't know. What triggers this every second (?)
Is it some sort of a DHCP retry becauseof this warning ?

Any hints are welcome!

Regards,

Stephan
